All Amazon teams are developing generative AI, states CEO

During Amazon’s Q2 2023 earnings call, CEO Andy Jassy highlighted the role of artificial intelligence (AI) across all the company’s business areas, stating that each one has “multiple generative AI initiatives” underway. In addition to providing infrastructure and services facilitating generative AI applications through AWS, AI also significantly contributes to operations, cost-effectiveness and the customer experience throughout the company.
