Microsoft introduces a professional plan for Copilot
January 15 2024
Microsoft is intensifying its commitment to AI-driven productivity by launching Copilot Pro, a new paid consumer plan at $20 per user per month, and expanding its enterprise-level offerings. Copilot Pro, which requires a Microsoft 365 Personal or Family plan, integrates with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneNote, enabling advanced features such as text editing, presentation design, and email drafting. Additionally, the plan offers benefits like access to the latest AI models, custom image creation with Designer, and the promise of future customization options with Copilot GPT Builder. Simultaneously, Microsoft has made Copilot widely available to businesses with fewer restrictions and has differentiated enterprise features, such as Copilot in Teams. Despite the focus on paid plans, Microsoft continues to support free users with new Copilot GPTs, a mobile app with advanced AI capabilities, and upcoming multi-language support.
