OpenAI introduces ChatGPT subscription service for small groups
January 10 2024
OpenAI has launched ChatGPT Team, a new subscription-based service tailored for small to mid-sized teams of up to 149 members, which offers collaborative features, administrative tools, and access to advanced AI models such as GPT-4, GPT-4 with Vision, and DALL-E 3. This service enables teams to create and share custom apps that utilize OpenAI’s text-generating AI without requiring coding skills. These apps can even interact with a company’s unique data, like analyzing proprietary codebases. OpenAI has promised future exclusive features to subscribers of this plan and has committed not to train its models on customers’ private data or conversations. Priced at $30 monthly or $25 per user per month when billed annually, ChatGPT Team offers a cost-efficient alternative to the pricier Enterprise plan, targeting businesses looking for affordable AI integration for tasks such as coding, content creation, and summarizing work-related content.
